Welcome to REPLAY!

Overview

REPLAY is an open solution developed in java to integrate, index, archive, and distribute audiovisual lecture recordings on a large scale. The project started at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, in 2006 and unfolds the intellectual value lectures hold by providing for content-based access and opening audiovisual material to an interactive and collective enrichment by users.

Project Status

REPLAY is currently being developed into a stable 1.0 version scheduled for July 2009. A prototype of the system was successfully demonstrated in january 2008. Be free to take a look a the detailed road map or even discuss your extensions and development plans in the forums.

The current version is 0.7, released on March 11th, 2009

Getting started

To get started with REPLAY, you might first want to check out the documentation before downloading the source code from the svn repository.

Community Support

REPLAY already has a small community of users and developers. The primary medium for asking questions, diskussing subjects and getting help is the forum.

To post bug reports or submit fixes, the issue tracker is the right place.

The project has a chat box #replay, accessible via IRC on irc.freenode.net. The channel is open for general discussions on REPLAY and related subjects.

All REPLAY sources are freely available via the subversion repository. The source code is made browsable and is continuously being monitored and built.
